never! 80 grams? My heavy saddle is still only 160 grams heavier - I can save more weight by shaving my head (already done), pee more, eat less... if I were so thin that I couldn't lose any more weight... and I was competiting against the best of the best of the best in an up hill TT?
I'll still consider saving weight with other things first... no need to ditch a comfortable saddle to reach UCI standards anymore - not with a good monocoque composite frame (you can even do that with just unmodified DA10 or Record with some frames + competitive light wheels).
