THAT fork's a good one, the only one I'd recommend. I've a feeling though, based on what chucky's stated, that it doesn't appeal to him.

The point IS that Alminum Forks are passe... NOT so good. THAT'S why most have been dicontinued.
I could tell you some horror stories but having not seen such with my own eyes, I'll forgo that.
Again.. jet's is OK. Aluminum forks, even swappin' the OE ones out for them, was all the rage in the late '80s & very early '90s.. 'till it was realized that they weren't so hot... not something to reach for'
OK, you hate Carbon, I can appreciate that. A chrmoly fork is MAYBE 2oz.s heavier than a chromoly AVG. I've exp. in such matters. 1" forks were the size long ago when pop., so most of those are gone.
