Welcome, Ol Danl , in choo choo town. I live down the road 100 miles in Atlanta. Chickamauga Battlefield is a good place to ride. There's a book called Road Rides in North Georgia (or something like that) that lists several rides, including rides for beginners. Some of these are in the Chickamauga Battlefield area. In addition, on weekends, both the Silver Comet trail which is west of Atlanta and the Chief Ladiga Trail which is close to Piedmont, Al. are good rides. Jeff
