Rolled in at 20 F ( -6 C) this morning. This is the first day for cold weather gear, heavy hood, ski pants, very good gloves and so on. We had our first snow on Saturday, but the roads are clear with packed ice in the gutters, and no place to go in case of errant drivers. Replaced my chain this weekend, and that was
a very pleasant feeling for my legs this morning. Now is that long 4 months march back to civilized temps, and making do until then.

Sixty Fiver, -18F ( -27 C) is very cold, and I would have to learn how to dress for that.
