Of the SunTour's, the first appears to be retro-friction / ratcheting type, the second is a first gen AccuShift 7sp. My SunTour comparability knowledge is worse than my Syncro, but I think my Sutherland's manual has some information on it but that may be worthless without knowing what model shifters those are. I'm in the process of getting both Syncro and Accushift information moved into VeloBase's new Shifting System section, but it's going to be an ongoing process to get all the information setup in a meaningful way.
