My current bike is a women's (and I'm a dude). I'm slightly self conscious about it, but I don't let it bother me much. The colors are actully pretty nice, dark blue on aluminum, and as long as I'm sitting on it, no one can see the big "W" on the saddle or "women" painted on the frame (especially if I'm moving fast). I'm more self conscious that it's a cheap bike with low end components than that it's a women's bike.
