5F (-15C) this morning with snow and ice on the roads. I was fine on the ice and hardpacked stuff but slipped a bit where it was fluffy. (I use Nokian Mount and Ground 1.9" studded 26" tires on my snow bike) I picked up some cheap mittens at Sports Authority over the weekend and they made a huge difference compared to the gloves I had been using.

It is really amazing to me how with the right gear it is fairly easy to stay warm even when very cold outside.
