I'd be thrilled to do a 20 mph century, but there's not enough flat ground where I live. The climbing really slows me down.
Daytrip, I'm from Albany so I know from whence you come. Granted, So Fla is flat as a pancake, and we ride 365, but like the plains we get some stiff unrelenting winds. Sundays KID century had a 6 - 10 mph headwind most of the way up, and as luck would have it, it swung around into a cross wind on the return :^(

I like climbing, and while I'm a rank noob, I find myself passing a lot of others on the frequent bridges and overpasses. I'm looking forward to this summers return to Albany on vacation and another great ride though the Heidelbergs.
