Thanks for all the comments. The seat is actually not that uncomfortable--I guess I've gotten somewhat used to it. I looked at this bike sort of like the 'hybrid' of bents. The price was right to try bents, and I figured i could probably get close to what I paid for it if it didn't work out. On the other hand, if I find that my neck issue means no more uprights, I will look at a high racer-- they've got some nice ones at Bikes@Vienna--
