Has anyone tried hot dip galvanizing for refinishing their steel bike frame? It seems like it would serve as a rather heavy duty finish for a commuter bike. Plus, it would protect the inside of the tubes as well. So, I'm just wondering if the same galvanizing process that works for structural steel, like I-beams, would work for thin-walled steel tubing.
