Not a 3-speed or a single-speed

Here's a recently completed project: a 1970s Rudge Sports frameset w/ a rear Bendix 2-speed cable-actuated hub built into a 700c Rigida rim. I put on a cheapo hi-ten fork to handle the 700c front wheel, 35mm Pasela tires, a Brooks B66 with a hole in the middle (but it still rides fine), a front Weinmann brake, and some Luxe upright bars. Total weight is about 29.5 lbs. The ride is a hoot. The massive trigger really pops the thing into high gear, and the wide tires give it a bomber effect. With smaller tires, I could get some fenders on there, but it'll do for now.
