I used to ride the downhill portion of our local Park Blvd (in front of the zoo) hands free back in the late '70s... this Zoobomber stuff ain't that new. The name maybe... but not the concept.
ZooBomb officially began at the end of the Portland Bike Summer in August 2002, by then the hill had been accessible by train for more than 10 years and of course people had been downhilling there for longer than that, just not in any particularly organized fashion.
