Attachment 128283Attachment 128284 I think it looks kind of cool, too. Now I need a clear shield for night riding.
Now I tried almost that same idea with a replacement face shield from a setup used to cover the face while using a chain saw. It fogs up terribly. The shield originally was chin length, and it fogged. Then I drilled venting holds in the bottom two inches--still fogged. Then I cut it off so it is about nose length--still fogged. Do you think you have minimal fogging just because your shield is short enough not to trap a lot of air? I am at a loss at this time as to how to make that idea work. My next approach is going to be to wear a dust mask over the nose and mouth and cut a hole in the bottom for exhalation. If that doesn't work, I could cut the shield even shorter, but then it is not doing the job I made it for, which is to block the wind from the face.
