When I left the house this am it was 31 with south winds forecast. After about a mile into my ride I had to make a decision go north or south. I said to myself what would PCad do? [Remembering this thread I new he would head north] so I headed south just to be contrary. The wind and rain got here sooner than the a-holes on the local weather channel were predicting and after about an hour into my ride it got pretty nasty with rain and wind battering me pretty good. I turned around, put it at my back and got home fairly quick thanking the cycling Gods that I wasnt fighting my way back riding into it. It does pay to be contrary now and then..
