Love my Cycle-Ops Fluid 2. It's quiet and very smooth. I also have a Cycle-Ops Wind. It sounds like an industrial sized LARGE fan (it's noisy) but its also pretty smooth as well.
I don't believe that anyone actually uses wind trainers indoors. I used one before a TT once, and it sounded like a jet was taking off from the parking lot. And I'm not even very strong.
