Saw a few interesting bikes at the flea market yesterday including the usual comically overpriced frankenbikes, and a Dutch city bike with aluminum tubing and plastic lugs - reefer madness indeed! Only managed to grab a horrible cellphone snapshot of it but it's enough to see the faux-filed and outlined head lugs and internal cable routing. Well, why not? When you build a frame that is the very essence of
noodly, what harm will a few extra holes cause? There's almost certainly a bag of weed stashed in the seat tube.
We found a vendor with a pile of bike parts and spent nearly an hour digging around, but most of the parts were badly mangled. My friend managed to find a few gems among the debris:
