I still remember when vbulletin was a glint in the scheme. Good ground works team of solid developers with a buy/sell business model. Good guys. bummer to see it go to crap.
For imposing changes on us without our consent.
Why do they need anyones consent. Never understood this concept. Its a free site...don't like it...lump it. I hated pinkbike...I posted a message and left. Lots of us did back in the day, did they change...nope. Did it stop their growth, nope. New people came, saw and didn't remember the previous "feel" and liked it. I can say this about over 10 forums btw from bike forums, to professional forums, to web forums...
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of old formats.
Change isn't always bad, I prefer most of the new feel, but there are some things missing that I hope they can bring back, but I deal with multiple interface changes pretty much daily in my job. Change is the last thing I am worried about, especially when I come to a site like this to relax.
For abolishing the free system trash talk and the most basic form of verbal attacks.
can't argue this one, my visits went down due to the vanillaization of the site. The cynical sarcasm, bitter responses and good ole jabbing is something I miss. It comes in ebbs and flows of course.
