Yes, we all talk about the weather, but we don't do anything about it.....except ask advice and try to buy the best clothes and gloves and shoe covers; try share our experiences on how we deal with it so others can benefit from our experiences. Well, I think that means we're doing something about it.

Oh the weather in in N. Florida is like spring...cool morning, balmy afternoons; come on this is December! I rode my NOS road bike to work today. I had to improvise how to carry one of my Detour Toucan panniers on my back and found a great solution of using a bungee cord around my waist clipped into the rack mounting ears and the shoulder strap over the shoulder.
The bike is a 2005 KHS Flite 700. Campy 9-speed with triple crankset. Pretty "aggressive" geometry, at least to me. A very different riding experience compared to the Nashbar X-frame cyclocross frame I built up last April.
I rode it to get a better feel for it and to make sure things would work on on a longer group ride I'm hoping to do tomorrow.
What a fun day riding it. Looking forward to tomorrow; hoping the weather holds.
