Sorry to read about the over abundance of H2O in your area but hasn't New Orleans always had issues with water? Are there not large pumps that keep the levels low?
In our area we also had rain but it froze and the roads turned into a skating rink. Going home from work last night I was the fastest vehicle on the road with my studded tires, passing many cars especially on the hills where the four-wheel variety sat and spun. I had one of the most enjoyable rides and secretly wished the City would run out of salt but alas this morning the journey was tough going through mounds of slush.
