Oh that's what you guys are waiting on. I read pretty much every post in this forum, so sometimes I skim over details. If I can convince the misses it's worth it, I'm going for it. There's no way I'm getting a $80+ light, short of winnning the lottery. I'd sooner try to build something from a mish-mash of hardware store parts, and likely never finish, so the MTE is looking pretty good. I went out around 6am the other day thinking the sun'd be up by the time I got to the trail head, but I should have checked the sunrise time online, because it didn't start to get light until it was time to head home and get ready for work. It's dark by the time I get home in the evenings, and most weekends, I have to help with the kids, so getting a light is the only way I'm going to get to ride for a while.
