I'm hoping due to how freaked she got that'll be the last blind sidewalk step she ever makes. I'm all for jaywalking but holy crap some folks can be downright suicidally disengaged when they step into traffic, it'll never fail to baffle me. I had a herdo'ped just streaming across Yonge at that weird area just north of Front street yesterday. I think there is a subway exit from Union on the west side and the building on the east side contains M2, the ad agency. Due to the cars being stopped, it's treated like there is a crosswalk with a green light. Along I come on the yellow line as the Front street intersection is the right turn of death, I scream NOT A CROSSWALK as I carve through them. One coffee dropped, no freak outs but some audible breath intake and stifled screams. It's worse than any intersection I've encountered in the core. Your lemur, I hope, is counting her blessings.
