Then you can order parts for a small markup over cost and get used parts REAL cheap, as building up a bike from scratch paying retail prices is kind of a sucker's game, unless you're very patient (see e.g. the complete bikesdirect.com bikes with Ultegra components for $799, when the retail price on Ultegra shifters alone is $400).
