Either way, this makes me skeptical of this product.
2. the fact that SA kept misjudging when the product was going to be released coupled with this change in price leads me to believe that this company is not being run by competent people (these days).
So far, nothing about this product seems very dependable.
I saw the post from Min - I sent him a PM to ask about it
He told me who he got the proto type hub from; and that he intended it to send it back to the oem supplier so SA could get at it
My feeling is that when you get a free proto-type to test it should be [a] undertstood it is not production item [b] that test results should go to the supplier only. But that is me. And hey; our prototype worked great for months and still works.
I can not say how this hub will work for years to come - but with way over 100 production units in the hands of customers; I can say we have not heard of one failure yet. My guess is all of the ones we have sold have been riden and used in all types of situations.
I hope the hub holds up over time; so far so good.
