I may be ignorant to the Trek ways (apologies for misspelling Klingon), but as a high school drum major turned middle school music teacher, they won't let me give up my nerd card. Of course, that means I've met plenty of "girl nerds", just not the Trekkie type.

Come to think of it, most things I've been into have a disproportionate male/female ratio: cycing, auto racing, trumpet playing, radio control... Of course, I found any girl into those things to be totally hot by default, but so did the other 50 guys who couldn't believe a girl was into it too.
