I had a Cateye Astrale but it started giving me problems after less than a year.
I got a Vetta RT77 when I got my "new" road bike about 1-1/2 years ago. Cost was ~$35. Liked it so much I put one on my commuter and trashed the Cateye.
It shows all the information I'm interested in, including cadence.
