Any reason why a small-flange rear hub (44.5 mm spoke hole diameter) can't be laced 4-cross? I have a nice set of 32-hole hubs and new rims, but at 185#, I typically ride 36-hole. The one 32h rear I have seems to need truing once or twice a year. So, I thought that building a wheel 32h but 4x might help solve that. It's going to be singlespeed, with very little dish, which should help too.
