OK, I'm sitting here at 12:11 AM typing with greasey fingers 'cause....the seat post has been freed!

all I did was spray some WD-40 into it and let it sit for a few hours, then I mounted an old junker seat and tried to twist it loose, after about ten minutes with no luck I let myself get angry! I grabbed the baseball bat and whacked the crappers out of the seat! Then I noticed that it moved ever so slightly! So I whacked it in the other direction and it moved even more! I repeated this a few times then tried by hand, it slipped on out like it was always free! I cleaned the black nasty grime off the post and inside the seat tube, lubed the seat tube and post with PHIL water proof grease, and slid it on in, tightened the collar and mounted the Brooks Pro! Yeeeeeeeee Ha!
