You know, I always preferred Gilbert Shelton to Crumb... Shelton just seemed to have more fun in him, although Crumb certainly has better chops as an artist. And of course, Frank Stack's "The New Adventures of Jesus" (in particular "Jesus goes to the Movies"), one of the highlights of 20th century culture and arts.
