Honestly, a six bolt Shimano hub should not be hard to find, even though it won't be from the very latest generation since those are apparently all centerlock. Just a couple months ago, I built wheels for my new mountain bike using Shimano XT 6 bolt hubs and BB7 brakes. I had no trouble finding the hubs.
