Superior? for who you?or is it that if anyone does like them you don't want them to enjoy it maybe that why you always try to put down what others people do a lot on this BF.I can say at time you do try to help out the best you can.You might want to go and read back the thread.As for mounting it on the rim you don't have to do it that way if you think about it lots of way to mount a generator light to a bicycle.Now don't take this the wrong way I'm not trying to hurt your feelings.I just think that now days people want to try and out do each other to much.Some of us do like the older looking stuff for bicycle and I am one of them.This light does put out pretty good light I should know I did have one long time ago.And I may even get this light again I think they work a lot better than you may think.I do a lot of research on line and this very light a lot of people think the way you do so you are not the only one thinking this way.But to the people that has this light they love it.With the bicycles of today you don't have to pedal as hard as you did back then to get a good light out put.With all that said I do enjoy reading stuff you talk about even if I don't like what all you say ever time.
