Your frame has a 73 degree seat angle, and a seatpost with little rear offset, so you shouldn't need any extreme measures to get your knee over the pedal.
Unless there's something else going on, or you're not correctly measuring correctly you shouldn't even need to go to the most forward seat position which would make for a fairly steep effective seat angle. Have a knowledgeable friend observe your riding position and help you diagnose your problem. Or post a broadside photo of you on the bike.
I'm 5'6" and the bike is a 51cm.. I have had afit from a LBS. he said at the time that he would like to see my knee a little futher forward. I think a dual position seat post from cervelo would fix the problem. I'm planing on getting a Rutel bike fit soon. If I had a dual they could put me were I needed to be ? Should I buy know or wait till after the fit ?
