Have they fixed that beginning section of road along the creek yet? That was some of the worst GD roadway I've ever been over on a bike. That was 2 years ago, so if they haven't fixed it, then it's that much worse.

Don't know yet which route it'll be. If it's cold and windy, then I'll probably opt for the wussy route, just to get the F off that mountain as soon as possible during the descent. Forecast says mostly sunny and 60's for that day, so Big T looks good. But, my sister from Ohio is in town for the Rose Bowl, so my departure time depends on how late I was up the night before. Have I given enough excuses?
