Yeah, I mean certainly neither will hold up to power tools, but my thought is always that they will look at the brute and go "Sheesh that lock is big! I am going to go for this slightly smaller one instead". It's debatable whether that's worth the extra 2 lbs. Either way it's only 1/2 as heavy as the really big kryptonite or onguard chains.
