From the Great Plains. My son lives in Hawaii. My mother and sister and parents-in-law live on the central coast of California. I have a few friends in SoCal. Should I leave my wife for the winter and "visit" one or all of the aforementioned until May? Like let them know them I'm taking a trip west, they offer to put me up, gracious people they are, and I just stay until they pressure me to leave? Do a serial Tour de Warm Weather? I am not getting studded tires, and I hate riding a trainer waiting for ice and snow to melt. Any advice will be welcome.
