I'm glad to know that. I figured the kevlar belt adds weight and rolling resistance. The tires I have have extremely light, thin sidewalls.

I haven't ridden new Michelins in a long time, so I can't compare. I can say, though, that I expect you'll love the non-Kevlar Paselas.

If you want to spend some more money, I can recommend the Schwalbe Stelvio tires. I have them on another bike. I inflated them to 130 psi (yes, really) and they felt as supple as a tubular tire.
