12/28....101 miles on the trail. Ran into LewisAClark who can verify that it was WINDY. Got a little help from Tammy taking a pull, about 3 miles. Sheesh, every little break helps! I did the trail twice to make the hundred, just racking up mileage trying to stay ahead of LewisAC on bikejournal.
..Started a bit late so it was just about dark when I finished.
My legs were toast from the tandem ride the day before with Gina. It was windy that day too. In the vid, LewisAClark mentions that he was doing 10 mph right out of the gate, that's how windy it was starting out into a headwind.
Wind, tired legs and wondering if I'd do the 100, I finished in 6:30. Not very fast but I was just happy to rack 100 after asking having doubts several times along the way.
