I still didn't vote in the poll, because I'm one who couldn't decide on one option or another, and believe that a lot of different solutions to the problem will be used.
I also think that ecological+economic upheaval MIGHT occur, so that the reduced demand for fuels could come by way of people dying off.
So another possibility:
--human population will grow & peak in ~60 years,
--during the decades that follow, resource scarcity will kill people off leaving the world population 10% to 50% smaller (than peak)
