A poll at the head of this thread would have been helpful....I doubt anyone has taken the time (unless they truly lack an actual life) to tabulate the percentages from the responses..
That being said...there does seem to be an abundance of engineering types posting here. When you think about the general tone of the forum...that explains a lot.
