That's not to say that TA and Stronglight cranksets *don't* work on ISO BB spindles or Campy taper BB spindles (I've done that combo without a problem), but the ideal match is a TA crankset with a TA spindle and a Stronglight crankset with a Stronglight spindle. The ideal is often elusive in the vintage bike biz.
