After a few century rides you may think that expensive shorts are a good deal. You may be upset you did not buy them before. It could mean the difference between a saddle sore or not, it could mean the difference between finishing a long ride and not making it.

It has to do with comfort, power, and convenience. You get more. And of course the big one, profit. I get a lot of use out of Performance brand shorts. Not too expensive.
