I had a set of RollTrac (sp?) rollers 31 years ago that I used one winter before moving to Atlanta, where I enjoyed 8 years of year-round riding. As I recall, it was much more like real cycling than using a trainer. I would be a bit anxious about trying to learn how to use them again - am using a trainer this winter for the first time in a long time and am quite spoiled by relaxing in the comfort of the recumbent's Comfy Chair and watching a little TV and, oh yes, spinning.
