Why do most riders/shops set the handlebars to slope down to the hoods and set the hoods to angle up from the bars? This puts the wrists at an awkward, twisting down, angle when gripping the foreward part of the bars just before the hoods. It also creates a valley under the palm when gripping the hoods w the front part of the palm and gripping the farthest forward portion of the upper bars w the back portion of the palm.
Move your bars/hoods to how you like them. Don't worry about what other people's look like.
