I think this shows that bike sizing can be both confusing and seriously over-thought...or tall guys just get screwed, perhaps. I like riding larger frames, 63cm or so, so its always frustrating looking through bike catalogs and seeing the "XL" as 58cm (I guess the compact frame thing changes it)
People at both ends of the spectrum get screwed. I would argue that short people have it worse simply because what the bike industry considers "short" includes approximately 50% of all women period, for whom appropriately sized parts and frames simply do not exist for the most part.
