One of the interesting angles of helmet use is the perspective of a generation of riders who have grown up knowing nothing but "the importance" of wearing a helmet.
It skews perception because they have no personal knowledge of falling without a helmet, surviving with no injury, and not even thinking about "the helmet effect".

case in point (and with the acknowledgement of knowing the science doesn't match the marketing effort).
Science shows (and helmet manufacturers along with some helmet promoters acknowledge) helmets cannot prevent concussion,

Deal (and a very healthy attitude to have)
