I have ridden SMP Pro saddles for 3 years but switched to a Selle Italia SLC gel flow (nearly identical to SLK -which I haven't ridden- but a wider cut out that goes further forward and less padding) this past season. Bottom line I love the SLC saddle. It provides a narrower nose than the SMP and hence less leg rub and the hammock suspension of the SLC provides more give and better spreads the load onto the sit bones than the SMP Pro. I much prefer the SI slc and now find the SMP pro uncomfortable. Be aware that the slc (and perhaps other SI saddles) has short saddle rails ~45mm. With many seat clamps measuring 30mm this leaves little adjustablility and means you need to have a seatpost with just the right setback.
