I've been commuting on a fixed gear with fenders and 700x25 slicks - which so far has been fine this winter. We're in the middle of a bit of a storm here in Pittsburgh (3-5" likely overnight), and I'm in a conundrum about how to get to work tomorrow. I didn't plan ahead and don't have the option of getting studded tires tonight, but my options are as above:

-ride the fixed gear as-is, 700x25 slicks with fenders
-mount 700x35 'cross knobbies, probably still able to fit fenders
-ride mountain bike with 29x2.1 knobbies but no fenders
-shamefully ride the bus

Any suggestions?
