I've started from Encanto a couple of times, ridden a maze of back-streets through Duarte, Agoura Hills and Pasadena before arriving at the 2 near the 210. I followed other riders who knew the way, I doubt I could do it again without a route sheet.

Anyway, from there you can't get lost, just take the 2 to the 39 and 39 back to the bike path that leads to Encanto.

I think it's 80 miles with 8,000 feet of climbing; nice loop! Thanks to Vertical Bob and friends for showing it to me.
