It's a "world car, like so many others. I don't think there's one to be had that's made exclusively here

Yeah, but when the dollars go home to roost it's not on american soil I'm not so blind as to not recognize that it's a global economy, but when profits get re-invested I'd much prefer that they do so closer to home. And Frankly, the Focus has even to my surprise been a really solid little car. I bought it as a cheap commuter, and it's lived up to every expectation.
