Yup, I hear that is how it works down there everybody is all smiles because they'll be getting a big check - but if you're somehow found at fault prepare to be stripped. I would suggest getting twice the value for your old civic is borderline defrauding of the driver and his/her insurance company, but I don't know how such things work... I guess the at fault driver will be paying through the nose now?
