I hear McDonalds in Europe use their old fryer oils and make it into bio diesel to run their delivery fleet on. Good financial and good for the environment.
A friend of mine owns a TDi Jetta and is now going to some facilities that reuse old fish 'n chips/McDonalds fryer oils. He said the car runs fine although it does smell abit of french fries. I think it's a great alternative! Smart one at it. There are a few facilities in Vancouver area that provide this at a low cost.
